When we meet

Newark Speakers will meet twice a month in the evenings at two locations.
The first Monday  Newark  and third Monday Bingham.
However there sometimes are exceptions to this depending on how the Bank holidays fall and other exceptional events.

Meetings start at 19:15 for 19:30 Start and usually finish about 21:30 or before with a break for a drink midway through the evening.

A chairman is appointed to manage each evening and members take in turns to do speeches, evaluate speeches, and chair the topics session.  See the 'About Newark Speakers' page for a typical programme for an evening.

New members are welcome at any time of the year and they will not be asked to do anything until they feel ready! Why not come to meeting and find out what it is all about. Your first visit as a Guest cost's you just  £2.50 subsequently £5.00 per meeting.  

Joining Membership fees are annual £50 year from date of joining  + £2.00 per night towards room hire. (reviewed each year)  

Membership Fees are due on the month of joining repeating each year on that date payment via Standing order preferred.

Card Payments accepted

Our year Season  starts Sept-Sept but you can join any time.
